nee Forward
Peacefully on Tuesday December 13, 2011. Doris Scharf in her 91st year of South Mountain. Beloved wife of the late Nelson B. Scharf. Loving mother of David of South Mountain and Susan of Hamilton. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother (GiGi) of Matthew of Hamilton, Steve (Maina) and Emrick of Norway. Predeceased by her siblings Helen Turner, Edwin Forward, Isabel Forward, Bill Forward, and Mary Fraser. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. By family request Cremation has taken place. A visitation will be held at the Byers Funeral Home 2990 Church Street, South Mountain (613-989-3836) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday December 16, 2011 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the South Mountain United Church, the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Charity of Your Choice. I always enjoyed our visits with her and with her family, especially Susan and David.
