Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Thursday April 12, 2012 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Angelina (Scodellaro) Toneguzzi. Devoted father of Bruno (Debbie), Mario (Marlene), Angelo (Kerry), and the late Laurie Sheehan. Cherished Nono of Damon, Anna, Giulia, Aurelio, and Kristina. Predeceased by his parents, Angelo and Maria, step-mother Tranquilla, sisters Rosalia and Gina, and brother Bruno. Fermino was a proud member of Fogolar Furlan and the Alpini Club, and well known in the construction industry for many years as a superintendant for Keystone, Beaver and Colautti Construction. His hobbies included gardening, bocce, dancing, card playing, wine and grappa making, and mora. Friends may pay their respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue, Barrhaven on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Tuesday April 17, 2012 at St. Anthony's Church (Booth at Gladstone) for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Lung Association, or the Kidney Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.kellyfh.ca .
