HOLLAND, Louise Marcella
Louise Holland, formerly from Schreiber Ontario, passed away suddenly at her daughter's home on Sunday October 7, 2012 in Ottawa, Ontario at the age of 90. Louise was born in Jackfish, Ontario to Dominic Bonfigli and Natalia Pallotta on March 13, 1922. After working for many years for Spadoni Bros. in Franz, she moved to Schreiber, Ontario where she continued to work for Spadoni Bros. She met and married Emmett Holland. When her health started to fail, she moved to Ottawa in January 2010 to live with her daughter and family. Louise was predeceased by her parents Dominic and Natalia Bonfigli, her husband Emmett, her son William in infancy, sister Violet Lorenzetti and son-in-law James Baird. Louise leaves behind her daughters Elda Baird of Brampton, Maxine Holland-Rolland; son-in-law Darren Rolland of Ottawa and son Michael of Thunder Bay. She will be dearly missed by her precious grandchildren Daniel, Ryan and Scott Baird of Brampton and granddaughter Kayla Maria Rolland of Ottawa. Louise will also be remembered by her nieces Liane Beauparlant, Bonnie Sherband, Elda Byschke and nephews Bruno and Gary Lorenzetti. Louise was known for her wicked sense of humor, kindness and generosity and her delicious Italian cooking. She had an incredible faith and held a deep devotion to Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta, her second cousin who was Beatified in 1954. Arrangements entrusted to;

Visitation at Holy Angels Church Schreiber from 9 to 11 am on Thursday October 11th followed by mass at 11 am with father Alex Barrion officiating. Interment in Schreiber Cemetery. The family would like to thank Dr. David Hurst of Schreiber and particularly Dr. Bruno Nicoletti of Ottawa for their dedication in making Louise's final years peaceful and comfortable. Donations can be made in Louise's name to the Ottawa Catholic Education Fund or McCauseland Hospital Long Term Care in Terrace Bay, Ontario.
