The Freedom Fighter
I've fought for freedom all of my life
Teaching the Air Force to fly
To go beyond the clouds of strife
Into the unknown sky
I've fought for freedom all of my life
Bringing my family abroad
Expanding the vision, so says my wife
Opening it all to God
I've fought for freedom all of my life
My career was just a tool
To invent and inspire with a lecturer's fife
Independence in ones unique school
I've fought for freedom all of my life
With loads of spunk and will
United at last with my deceased wife
Exploring the vast heavens, what a thrill
