TALBOTT, Victor Hubert
October 15, 1926 - March 25, 2013
In hospital on Monday, March 25th, 2013 at the age of 86. Beloved and devoted husband for 63 years of Evelyn (nee Tippin), loving father of Dave (Sandi) and Doug (Julie) and grandfather to David and Emily. Predeceased by his sister, Hope, and survived by his siblings, Jim, Sheila, Linda and Irene.
Born in 1926, Vic grew up in Ottawa and served in the Canadian military during WWII. He was a dedicated family man and later, a respected Rotarian in Buffalo, New York. Upon settling in Kanata, he became an active member of St. Paul's Anglican Church devoting both time and energy. Throughout his life, his hobbies included golf, photography and woodworking.
Special thanks to the compassionate staff at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital. As per Victor's wishes, there will be no visitation. A celebration of life service followed by a brief reception will be held at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 20 Young Road, Kanata at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30th. In memoriam, donations can be made to the Queensway- Carleton Hospital or St. Paul's Anglican Church in Kanata.
