There are no words. Bill was my Angel through the worst stages of my cancer. He and his family took my desperate calls for advice and hope. It's been 20 years for me and I was hoping to meet him again and thank him for all he'd done. Bill. You gave me hope when I had none. You visited me in hospital when I was scared beyond words. You were the Angel that guided me through this journey and it's not goodbye. It's until we meet again on the other side. I guess God needed you to help him up above. You are an amazing and wonderful soul and I was blessed to have met you and your family. This is a tragedy beyond words.

Having only just found out about Bill's passing, we are particularly stunned to think that all the times we thought of him and his family over the past few months, we never knew. Deeply saddened that Bill is no longer with his family, but also grateful for all the help and kindness he showed us, as to so many others. Always will be remembered as a man of heart and dedication. God bless you all, his family and friends. Gonzalo and Kathy

In the conversations with Bill via phone, I was incredibly encouraged by his compassion and sincerity. Good friends having had a family member helped by Bill and ISM encouraged me to seek help from ISM. I have been blessed by doing so... In health and in relationships. God bless you and keep you...make His face shine upon you and give you peace (numbers 6). Kathy Stewart

Dear Kathy and Family,
I just heard the sad news. Too soon for such a bright light to be extinguished. Billy was a force from a very early age. He helped so many people in so many ways. I haven't the words to express the loss. My heart goes out to you and your family. Cousin Jane

Bill was a great friend. I always looked forward to our many chats. I will miss his sense of humour. I will miss his passion, dedication and commitment to his work and helping people confront and overcome their illnesses. Bill was a kind, generous, thoughtful and thoroughly decent person. He had a vision and the determination to see his vision through. Bill was principled and was a person of absolute integrity. His enthusiasm was boundless and sometimes challenging, but his enthusiasm and energy were contagious. Bill's enthusiasm was always genuine and well-meaning. I will miss Bill terribly. Our friendship was special and meaningful. We always had each other's backs as great friends do. I feel an enormous emptiness. I will keep Bill's memory in my heart and his voice and sense of humour in my soul. Bill made a difference. The world is a better place because of him. Let's keep his dream and vision alive.

God Bless.

REMEMBERING

When I have come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom-filled room
Why cry for a soul so free?

Miss me a little but not too long,
And not with a head bowed low.
Remembering the love that we once shared,
Miss me, but let me go.

For this is a journey that we all must take
And each must go alone,
It's all a part of the Master's plan,
A step on the road to home.

When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds
Miss me, but let me go.

Mark,
Pls share this special poem with your family as you mourn the loss of your brother

This was such a shock today when I learned of Bill's passing. His passion, fearless nature, radiant smile and great sense of humor will be so very missed.

Like many, he entered and touched my life 18 years ago. He is someone who's gift was tremendously profound. It saddens me to think of a world without Bill.

My heart goes out to his beloved family, of whom he was devoted.

To a man with a vision and the perseverance to see it through so, so many obstacles.
Compassionate to a fault, with a gift to seek and find a ray of sunshine in the darkest of storms... he has been a lighthouse to many and I, for one, shine brighter for it, stronger, humbled and grateful.

My most heartfelt condolences to a family whose bottomless well of love, faith, strength and, may I add, patience :) made this man's vision, a dream come true.

All my Love,

No better man ever lived,
and he had a heart of gold.
The paradigm shift he created
Immune management
Is what I am told.

The hope he gave to many
instead of being forlorn,
their smiles and knowing looks
a reason to be re-born.

Too maverick to be labeled,
a marverick,.. indeed,
He swam against the current,
And accomplished what he pleased.

I am honored to have known him,
But one thing is for certain
His legacy will survive
beyond the Last call and the Last curtain.
