BROWNING, Dale Arthur, Major (Ret'd), CAF
Unexpectedly, at the Rideau Perley Veterans Home in Ottawa, October 29, 2013. Born on March 4, 1925 to Arthur and Gertrude Browning of Ponteix, Saskatchewan, Dale was the beloved husband of the late Josie (née Stasiuk). Dale was also predeceased by his brother, John Clark. Proud father of Gregory (Joanne) of Ottawa and Bruce (Susan) of Bellville. Loving Grandfather of Christopher, Allison, Colin, Sean and Terra. Dale was a veteran of WWII, in which he was wounded shortly after D-Day, the Korean War and was a U.N. Peacekeeper in the India/Afghanistan conflict in 1966/67. Dale retired in 1974 and worked for many years with the Frontenac County Board of Education in Kingston, Ontario.Friends will be received at the GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOME, 49 Colborne Street, Kingston on Monday, November 4 from 10:30 until the Funeral Service in Our Chapel at 12:30 p.m. Interment of the urn at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens, Glenburnie. In lieu of flowers, memorial donation made to the Rideau Perley Veterans Home would be appreciated by his family. Online condolences at
