WIGNEY, Newton
1925 - 2013
Peacefully on November 12, 2013 at the age of 87, WWII Veteran. Husband of Anita (Berndt). Dear father of Allen, Lana and Brenda (Jacques Desaulniers). Pappy to Andrea, Kyle, Lee, Erika and the late Christopher. Brother of Florence (the late Harold Curren), Melvin (Lorraine), Cesil (Kathy), predeceased by one brother Keith (Ethel Arthurs). Our family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and personal support staff of the 3rd Floor, Buckingham Hospital for their excellent care. Friends may call at CADIEUX TUBMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 322 Avenue de Buckingham, Gatineau (Buckingham area) on Friday, November 15, 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday November 16, 2013 from 9 a.m. The funeral service will take place at St. Andrew's United Church, 570 Avenue de Buckingham, Gatineau (Buckingham area) at 11:00 a.m. immediately followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion, 176 Joseph, Gatineau (Buckingham area). Burial will take place at 2:30 p.m. at the Gore Cemetery, 650 Montée Gore, Thurso, QC. Donations to Fondation Santé de Papineau or the would be greatly appreciated.
