ST. GELAIS, Lucille
It is with great sadness that Lucille St. Gelais, age 84, born October 13, 1929 and left us all on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at the Heart Institute in her home town of Ottawa, ON. She is predeceased by her parents, Florence (nee Trudel) and Arthur St. Gelais. She was the last sibling, predeceased by sisters Simone, Jeanette, Rita and her brother Paul. There was always an ache in her heart missing the many family gatherings she shared with her loving family, there children and her own 3 loving daughters. Loving mother of Carol (Doug), Janille (Wayne) and Donna (Paul). Proud grandmother of Jason, Derek, Jennifer (Habib), Ryan, Shannon (Dallas), Nicole (Jeff), Renee (Sean), Michelle and her many great-grandchildren. Lucille (42 year member) was known as a respected, beloved sponsor whose consolation, had led a generation of members with her experience, strength and hope. The family was by her side with tears of love as she passed peacefully into the arms of her angel, to guide her softly to her place of rest with her awaiting family members. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 29 in the Pinecrest Remembrance Chapel (2500 Baseline Rd., Ottawa), at 11:00 am. In memory of Lucille and the great works of the Salvation Army, and Grace Manor, all donations would be greatly appreciated and greatly needed at this merry Christmas time this 2013 year to go to the Salvation Army.
