CHRISTOPHER GLEESON Obituary
After a lengthy illness; with his family by his side, on Thursday December 12, 2013 at the age of 54 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Nancy (nee Carson). Loving father of John, David and Annie. Dear son of Betty and the late Jack Gleeson. Survived by his brother Mike (Kathy) and his sister Elizabeth (Pat Brennan). Also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Don and Heather Carson, sisters-in-law Debra Schouten (Carey Bough) and Donna Droogh (William) as well as many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to our families, Chris' care givers, friends, neighbours and teachers. Friends may call at the Tubman Funeral Homes, Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Rd., Nepean (between Bayshore and Baseline Rd) on Thursday December 19, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Fallowfield Catholic Church, 15 Steeple Hill Cres., Nepean on Friday December 20, 2013 at 11 a.m. Spring Interment. Memorial donations to Pathways Foundation Capital Campaign, 356D Woodroffe Ave, Ottawa ON K2A 3V6 or the Stittsville Minor Hockey Association in memory of Chris Gleeson, c/o VP Finance, Box 892, Stittsville, Ontario K2S 1B1. Dear Gleeson Family, I am deeply saddened to hear of Chris' passing. I attended St. John the Apostle and St. Pius X with Chris. I remember him to be a very kind hearted person who had a permanent smile on his face and always fun to be around. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Dear Nancy, John, David & Annie, my sincere sympathies to all of you during this difficult time. Chris was an amazing man who loved his family very much. I was very lucky to be his assistant at MDPIM, he always greeted me with a smile and was the most caring sincere person I have ever met. Dear Nancy, John, David and Annie. I remember when I first talked to Chris and organized his trip to come to Ottawa for Interviews at MD Physician Services. When he was hired in MD Private Trust, he would always remind me of setting up his first Interview for 8:00 a.m. which was 5:00 a.m. his time. Chris was always a joy to work with. His kind and gentle soul I will always remember. God Bless you Chris.

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Chris. Chris was a great manager for RT back in late 80s and I was proud to be on his team serving high net worth clients.
