in Cyprus in 1974
On February 3, 2014 at the age of 86 after a valiant battle with Parkinson's disease. Beloved husband of Kay Puil (née MacDonald). Loving father of Jocelyn (Gilles Régimbald), Karen (Gilles Girard) and predeceased by son, Mark. Step-daughters Lorri and Kim Puil (Robert Morelli). Proud grandfather of Rémi, Cahill, Zaire, Nyomi (Patrick Payne) Cheyenne and extended family; Sophie (Daniel Mulligan), Émilie (Alexandre Quesnel) and Catherine (Jonathan Roy-Beaumier). Dear brother of Marilyn (late Carl Jensen) and brother-in-law of James and Elizabeth MacDonald (Toronto) and William and Joanne MacDonald (Victoria). Will be dearly remembered by family, friends and comrades in arms. The family wishes to thank the personnel of the Perley & Rideau Veterans' Health Centre for the outstanding compassionate care provided. Friends are invited to visit Beechwood, Cemetery & Funeral Services, 280 Beechwood Ave. (east of Vanier Parkway) on Saturday February 15, 2014 after 12 noon, Funeral Service in the Sacred Space of the Beechwood National Memorial Centre will be held at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in his honour. In Memoriam Donations may be made to the Perley and Rideau Veterans' Health Centre Foundation.
