Cecil was such a lovely, lovely person. My dad always sat in the row in front of him at the Saturday mass and we loved chatting when we'd attend there. Cecil was so kind and such a gentleman. I'm so sorry for your loss.

We are so sorry for your loss. Cecil was an amazing soul. He had an easy way about him, there was no pomp, he was just a genuine good person. His smile will be missed, but lives on in his children and grandchildren.

Best boss one could have asked for back in the day (and best mechanic). He never gave up on me and taught me many things about cars. I never knew what a true work ethic and caring attitude looked like until I met him. Cecil had a real passion for cars and customer care and has touched many lives in a positive way. I, as many, will truly miss this man. Heartfelt condolences to Donnie and family.

Saddened to read the passing of Cecil, my late Father was a customer of his, always trusted him to work on his vehicle, in the early 80s Texaco had a promotion rewarding customers NHL hockey pucks 21 teams in all, and an oak board to mount them on, Cecil was very kind, he always asked Dad which pucks were needed and often handed out extras so my father could complete the set for me, it proudly hangs on my basement wall, Thanks Cecil

One of the kindest and gentlest men I have known. Working for and alongside Cecil for almost twenty years I was lucky enough to, not only only have a great boss, but also was treated like a son, and a friend , I was always part of the family. Sincere condolences to the entire family! There are people you meet briefly in your life that make a lasting impression and Cecil was one of them. I enjoyed my conversations with him at the shop, inquiring about his past and upbringings, admiring his solid beliefs and how easily he connected with people. A proud family man, he worked his entire life and the business he built is a testament to the man he was - a true loss for all of us. RIP!
