Lillian Louise Siegel, 60, of Sanford, died Friday morning, July 19, 2012, at her residence. She was born March 22, 1953, in Tawas, daughter of Charles Lyle and Leona (Shover) Beeck of Sanford and was a 1971 graduate of Meridian High School. On June 24, 1972, she was married to Bethel "Buzz" Siegel in Sanford. He survives her.
Lillian was employed as an office manager for GE Insulation for eleven years and loved to cook and crochet. Her greatest enjoyments included spending time and "spoiling" her grandchildren and being at their cottage on Canada Creek Ranch in Atlanta. She attended Messiah Lutheran Church in Midland
In addition to her parents and husband, Lillian is survived by her two children and their spouses, Jennifer and Christopher Campbell of Clare and Matthew and Julie Siegel of Coleman; and four beloved grandchildren, Hayley, Evan, Brianna and Dawsen. Also surviving are her sisters and brothers and their spouses, Dale and Doreen Beeck of Atlanta, Janine and Charles Card of Sanford, David and Cheri Beeck, Amy and Jon Pangborn and Joel and Michele Beeck, all of Midland; and Craig and Janet Beeck of Bay City; her sisters-in-law and their spouses, Mary Siegel, Colleen and Greg Umbarger, and Teri and Jackson Chia; brothers-in-law, Walter Siegel, James Siegel, and Kim Siegel; and her father-in-law, Walter M. Siegel Jr.
Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013, from Messiah Lutheran Church in Midland. The Rev. Kurt Weber will officiate, with committal services to follow in the Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Lillian's family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St., on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m., and at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider
