Mark J. Kullick, 55, of Midland, died Friday, May 9, 2014, at MidMichigan Medical Center following an illness. He was born
Nov. 10, 1958, in Midland, the son of Edwin F. and Loretta (Hanak) Kullick. Mark graduated from Ashman School and worked at the Arnold Center before moving to Gladwin. He had participated in the Special Olympics
and loved people, music, snowmobiling and bike riding. He really loved teasing those he loved, and taught so many the importance of accepting people for themselves and not for their abilities.
The family expresses a special thank you to all the staff in the Critical Care Unit at MidMichigan Medical Center for all the wonderful care and love they showed for our Mark.
He is survived by his mother, Loretta Kullick of Midland; sister, Kim (Brian) Leahy of Florida; brother, Russ (Jana) Kullick of Midland; nieces, Michelle Kullick and Payton Leahy; nephews, Joey and Lee Kullick and Canon Leahy; aunts, Maryann (Chuck) Tabb, Darlene (Mike) Soper, Bernice Josling and Gladys Marden; uncle, Donald (Brenda) Hanak; special friend, Tony; and all his A.F.C. home friends and family. He was preceded in death by his father, Edwin F. Kullick.
Also, the family acknowledges Linda and John Willford with special thanks for all the care and support they have given.
Memorial services will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, 2014. at Zion Lutheran Church, 1557 W. Seidler Rd., Auburn, with The Rev. Michael G. Buchhorn officiating. Mark's family will receive friends at the Ware-Smith- Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 W. Wheeler St., on Monday from 4-8 p.m., and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
