Matthew Randall Ralph

Matthew, age 52, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013, at MidMichigan Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. He was born Jan. 26, 1961, in Standish, to Kenneth Ralph and Anne (Plourde) Wiltse. He graduated from Midland High School in 1979; attended the University of Michigan then on to California and back to Michigan.

Matthew enjoyed music, playing his guitar and sports. He was a lifelong Lions fan. He most enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a loving and devoted husband and father.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen (Okon) Ralph; his daughter, Rebecca; and son, Ryan; also his brothers, Daniel Ralph and David Ralph; his sisters, Christine Ralph, Bonnie (Malanga) Ralph and Jenny (Ralph) Kime; many nieces and nephews; and one great-nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Janet (Ralph) Saukas.

Matthew's life will be celebrated at Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Home in Auburn, at 2 p.m., Nov. 29, 2013. There will be a memorial service at 3 p.m. and remembering his life after the service. Memorial contributions can be made to MidMichigan Regional Medical Center.
