Dorothy McMahon Obituary
Dorothy Madonna McMahon, 88, of Beaverton, passed away Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011. She was born in Gladwin, Sept. 12, 1923, to Jerry and Marie (Mogg) Geer. Dorothy married Roger McMahon in Beaverton on May 25, 1940. He passed away in 1981.
Dorothy is survived by daughter, Grace Stittsworth of Farwell; daughter and son-in-law, Gail and Dennis Schur of Grand Marais; daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Ray Rappley of Midland; eight granddaughters; 16 great-grandchildren; and several great-great granchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; sister, Deora Oliver; brother, Paul Geer; son-in-law, Bill Stittsworth, and son-in-law, Roger Strong.
A remembrance service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, 11 a.m., at Beaverton Church of the Brethren. Visitation will begin at the church at 10 a.m. Visitation will be held today at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, 430 S. Ross St., Beaverton, from 2-7 p.m. Burial will be in Tobacco Township (Dale) Cemetery, Beaverton. www.hall-kokotovichfuneralhome.com
