Evelyn Gilbert Obituary
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She also was an avid gardener.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Lorna (Ted) Masters of Battle Creek; three grandchildren, Sue (Dave) Vander Heide of Holland, Keith (Ellen) Masters of Battle Creek and Bev (R.J.) Riedel of Battle Creek; six great- grandchildren; her brothers, Oliver (Audrey) Sequin of Midland and Thomas (Malonie) Sequin of Three Rivers; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, George Wylie Gilbert Jr. (1990); and several brothers and sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2005, from Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 3109 Swede Ave. at Ashman. The Rev. Father Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate, with graveside burial rites in Old Calvary Cemetery.
Evelyn's family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass.
