Matthew I Cieslinski, 22, of Auburn, was called to his heavenly home suddenly on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. The son of Daniel and Karen (Engelhardt) Cieslinski was born in Bay City on Feb. 11, 1991. Matt was a graduate of Western High School and was attending Delta College. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Matt was employed with Hoff Farms and was also very involved with the family farm. He enjoyed life, hunting, especially goose hunting, fishing, boating, hockey and going to water parks, but most of all was his love for family and friends.
Surviving are his parents, Daniel and Karen; his brother, Jacob; grandmother, Kathleen Engelhardt; aunt and uncles, Michele (Paul) Vennix, Larry (Mary) Engelhardt and Karl Engelhardt; cousins, Kevin and Roger Vennix, Christopher and John Engelhardt; and many special friends Matt made over the years. Matt was preceded in death by grandparents, Leonard and Henrietta Cieslinski and Norbert and Erna Engelhardt; and Aunt Janet Engelhardt.
Funeral services for Matt will take place 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, from Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. David Sherry will officiate. Interment will be in St. Anthony Cemetery. Friends may call at the Auburn Chapel of Cunningham/Taylor Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m., on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
