Theryn Michael Bass, 15, of Midland, died Sunday April 6, 2014 at his home. He was born May 17, 1998 in Midland, son of Dennis and Jennifer (Stube) Bass. Theryn was currently a 10th grader at Bullock Creek High School.

He was well liked by his classmates and was known for his great sense of humor. Theryn enjoyed biking, reading and music; especially listening to Blink 182 with his mom, working out in the basement, hanging out with his friends, back packing on Manitou Island and hunting with his father.

He is survived by his parents, Dennis and Jennifer Bass of Midland; his brother, Brenden Bass, at home; his grandparents, Charles (Pat) Bass, Cathy (Robert Lang) Schneider and Charles (Barb) Stube; his aunt, Skylar Stube; and his uncles, Chas Stube, Matt (Dawn) Bass and Eric (Katie) Bass; many cousins; and numerous friends.

Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street, with Pastor Wayne Shidler officiating.

Theryn's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., and again on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the family of Theryn M. Bass or Westown Baseball.
