Dean Paul Mayer, 54, of Bay City, formerly of Midland, died Tuesday morning, May 6, 2014, at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn. He was born April 29, 1960 in Midland, the son of the late Jack and Beverly (Kilbourne) Mayer, Sr.

Dean was raised in Midland and had attended Midland Schools. He was a member of the Polka Dots Motor Cycle Club and was a life member of the American Motorcyclist Association.

Dean is survived by his children: his son Nicholas Mayer of Bay City; and daughter, Sara (Santosh) Regmi of Fort Worth, Texas. He is also survived by his granddaughter, Isha Regmi; his brother, Jack Mayer Jr. of Midland; and a niece, Elizabeth Mayer of Corsicana, Texas.

A memorial service for Dean will take place 11 a.m. Friday, May 9th, 2014 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1550 S. Poseyville Road, with Pastor Kurt Weber officiating. Dean's family will receive friends at the church Friday morning, from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Mayer family or the Toni and Trish House.
