Donna Jean Stark, 76, of Midland, died Sunday evening, Aug. 24, 2014 at Brittany Manor. The daughter of the late John L. and Eva I. (Hitsman) Rowe was born in Midland April 8, 1938. Donna was a member and very involved with Floyd Church of God, The W.C.G., and was a historian for the church and had worked on the funeral luncheon committee since 1963. Her great-grandmother was a founding member of Floyd Church of God.

Donna enjoyed baking, bird watching, working in her garden, and she was also a member of 4-H.
Surviving is her husband of 56 years, Robert H. Stark, of whom she married Jan. 25, 1958 in Midland; children, Robert Stark, Jr. and his companion Linda Groulx, John (Billy Jo) Stark, Susan (Michael) Willman, Kimberly (Paul) Donahue, all of Midland, and LeAnn (Keith) Mangan of Sanford; 27 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; brother, Kirk Rowe of Traverse City; sisters, JoAnn (Lynden) Phillips of Midland, Janet (Warren) Heath of Saginaw, Joyce Rowe of Harrison; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 from Floyd Church of God. Interment will follow in the Lee Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Church on Thursday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Wednesday, form 4 to 7 p.m. Memorials may be offered to W.C.G. of Floyd Church of God.
