Danny Cook, 66, passed away Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at his home. He was born in Owen County, the son of the late Abram and Nora Rose Cook and was also preceded in death by his sister-in-law Florence Cook. Danny worked as a cattleman and truck driver. He was a member of Squiresville Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school, was a published poet, a musician playing the guitar and harmonica, enjoyed horses and especially loved kids. He is survived by his wife Anna Cox Brown Cook, whom he married on Nov. 2, 2002; his daughters, Lori Cook Mutiso (Andrew) and Stephanie Cook Wall (Steve); a brother, Don Cook; his step children, Ben Peters (Jodie), John Peters (Amanda), Simon Peters (Mandy) and Christina Brown Wells (Bobby) and 15 grandchildren, Corey, Jacob, Paige, Anna, Joey, Evie, Mollie, Sarah, Diana, Merylin, Joel, Erin, Jude, Avery and Brantley, also survive.
