Effie Ware Forte, 54, of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at her residence. The Owenton native was the daughter of the late C. W. Ware and Hazel Sanders Ware. She was the director of environmental services for The Medical Center at Bowling Green, a Mary Kay consultant and a member ofÊPark Ridge Baptist Church in Sparta. Effie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Tom Forte; four sisters, Joyce Travis (Carl) Burlington,Ê Brenda Nevels (Michael) of Florence, Carolyn Brown (Benjamin) of Indianapolis, Ind., Trisha Lowery (Charles) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; eight brothers, Ray Ware (Paula), Indianapolis, Ind., Billy Ware (Valerie) Jeffersonville, Ind.,Ê Junie Ware (Carol), Florence, Moe Ware, Owenton, Doug Ware (Inez), Spring Hill, Fla., Jerome Ware (Lisa) New York, NY, Chris Ware, Orlando, Fla.,Ê Tony Ware, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; and a host of nieces and nephews. The family received friends Friday, April 12. 2013, from 3 until 8 p.m. at the J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel in Bowling Green and 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at State Street Baptist Church with service at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial was in the Bowling Green Gardens. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Commonwealth Health Foundation for the Hospitality House, P. O. Box 1868, Bowling Green, Ky.,Ê 42102-8984. The funeral arrangements were entrusted to J. C. Kirby & Son Lovers Lane Chapel.
