Julian "Peewee" Kincaid, 78, passed away at his home on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2017.
He was born in Owen County the son of the late Lloyd and Edith Mason Kincaid and was also preceded by a sister, Sue Mallory; a baby brother, Demaree and a grandson, Charlie Miller. He had worked as a forklift operator for ConocoPhillips, was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church and served in the Army from 1961-1963. Peewee loved to fish, especially for carp, and would always "pick."
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Doris Hammond Kincaid; four children, Greg (Tina) Kincaid, Beverly (Shane) Bradford, Pam (Tim) Miller and Mark (Billie Kay) Kincaid, nine grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a brother, Danny Kincaid.
McDonald and New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.
The funeral was held Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at the Main Street location. Burial was in the Owenton Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant Baptist or Hospice.
