Owenton KY. – Walker Lee Stafford passed away Monday, Nov. 19, 2012, at Saint Joseph Hospital after a long illness.Born Sept. 4, 1923, in Owenton, he was the son of the late Walker and Margaret Stafford. He served in Italy during World War II. He graduated from the University of Kentucky and worked as a sales representative for Stauffer Chemical Company for 30 years. He was a district sales manager at his retirement. He was a long time member of Southland Christian Church. He is survived by his loving wife, Louise; daughters Devon (Don) Roxberry and Valerie (Ed) McCaw; granddaughters, Laura (Peter) Euler, Allison (Yancey) Marcum; his great-grandchildren, Nola and Walker Marcum and Stafford and Reed Euler; his sister, Helen Pike; his brothers, Rex (Sandra) Stafford and Jerry (Sandy) Stafford; his sisters Ðin-law, Jane (Bob) Ritter and Annette (Norris) Kemper; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Stafford. The funeral services were held at noon on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Milward-Southland. Burial was in the Owenton Cemetery.
