LONG, Charles Edward age 84 of Morgan Twp., Ohio passed away Sunday, October 7, 2012 at his residence. He was born on January 17, 1928 in Dade City, Florida the son of Clarence and Della Long. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was employed as a school teacher in the Colerain school district for 30 years. He is survived by his wife Theron (Sweet) Long; two children, Cheryl Lynn (Duane) Courtney and Raye Jean (Ronald, Jr.) Reece; seven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Edward Long, Jr. Private services are being held. www.charlesyoungfuneralhome.com

Chuck was a very nice man. For the past 5 years i have worked with him at walmart. he was the sweetest person you could ever meet. he will surely be missed. my thougbts and prayer are with the family.

I remember Mr. Long as being my high school typing teacher....that was many many years ago. To remember him after all these years must have made him a "stand above the rest" kind of man.
