GRAPEVINE, Bruce Bruce Grapevine, 89, of Wilmington, Ohio died 6:33 AM, Thursday, November 28, 2013 at St. Catherine's Manor, Washington Court House, Ohio. His wife, Dorothy W. Grapevine, preceded him in death April 18, 2012. They were married May 1944. Mr. Grapevine was born August 16, 1924 in Lebanon, Ohio, son of the late Albert McCarty Grapevine and Marguerite Corwin Grapevine. He was raised in Morrow, Ohio and was a graduate of Lebanon High School. Mr. Grapevine was a lifelong farmer. He was also a construction project supervisor for the State of Ohio. He was a member of Chester Friends Meeting and a longtime member of the Republican Central Committee. Mr. Grapevine is survived by two sons, Michael Grapevine of Knox County, Ohio and Patrick Grapevine of Wilmington, Ohio; a sister, Ellen Faye VanHouten of Loveland, Ohio; a niece, Sarah VanHouten; a nephew, Lee VanHouten; three great nieces; and one great nephew. In addition to his wife and parents, a son, Anthony "Tony" Grapevine, is preceded in death. A memorial service will be held at Chester Friends Meeting at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chester Friends Meeting, c/o Billie Baker, 378 Darbyshire Drive, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
