COX, Edna* - Camden  
News Death Notice COX, Edna Age 93 of Camden, went to be with the Lord at her daughter's residence on Monday, April 25, 2016. She was born in Berea, KY on January 18, 1923 to Walter and Myrtle (Powell) Abrams. She attended Hamilton Church of God. On July 13, 1940 she married Daniel M. Cox, and were married for 70 years until the time of his passing in 2010. She is survived by her children, Jack (Lucille) Cox and Barbara (Bernell) Bishop, her grandchildren, Angela, Tara (Shawn), Brenda (Scott), Vance (Heather), Clint (Brandy), Rebecca, Justin (Summer), Jackie (Jim), 20 great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, and her sister, Ada Perry. She was preceded in death by her children, Danny Cox and Janet Sue Copenhaver, two grandchildren, her husband, parents, and four siblings. Funeral service will be held at Brown Dawson Flick Funeral Home, 1350 Millville Avenue, on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 1PM with Pastor Alan Weaver officiating. Burial will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 12-1PM at the funeral home. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com .

News Death Notice DAVID, Walter Tommy Lee Born November 4, 1945 to Clyde and Ethel David, in Commerce, Georgia. Passed away April 26, 2016 age 70. He was preceded in death by one son Tommy Christopher David. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife for over 46 years Cora David; one daughter Tonja Strickland (Tony), one son Jerome David (Kira); four grandsons: Justin and Joshua Strickland, Cameron David, and Trevin Simmons; two granddaughters: Jasmine Strickland, and Kyanna David, seven brothers, and one sister, and a host of other relatives and many friends. ELDRIDGE, Earl Clyde* - Middletown  
News Death Notice ELDRIDGE, Earl Clyde 74 of Carlisle, passed away peacefully under the care of Heartland Hospice Monday morning, April 25, 2016 at Close to Home in Middletown. Clyde was born August 19, 1941 in Middletown, the son of Joseph and Lora (Ellison) Eldridge. He retired from Sulzer Escher Wyss, where he worked as a draftsman. He attended Eighth Street Church of God in Franklin. Clyde served his community as a volunteer firefighter and served as councilman and vice mayor of Carlisle. He was a 1959 graduate of Lemon Monroe High School. Clyde is survived by son, Kevin Earl Eldridge; daughter, Jacqueline Rene' Eldridge; granddaughter, Haley Ann Eldridge Gillen; sister, Janet Kendrick of Carlisle; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Clarence and Lela Eldridge; brothers, Carter, Floyd, Roy, Samuel, Louis, James, and Kenneth; sisters, Retha Payton, Helen Powell, and Henrietta Phillabaum; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Breitenbach Anderson Funeral Home with Reverend Rob McCarty officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Woodhill Cemetery, Franklin. FARMER, Elliott Braxton* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice FARMER, Elliott Braxton Age 93 of Fairfield passed away April 23, 2016 at his home. He was born September 21, 1922 in Motley, VA, the son of Charles A. and Frances T. (Roark) Farmer. On February 12, 1943 Elliott married Lena Stanley in Catlettsburg, KY. He was a Veteran of the US Army, serving in WWII and the Korean War, earning multiple citations including the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Elliott worked as a Pipe Fitter for various companies and retired in 1987 from General Motors. He was a member of North Fairfield Baptist Church and served the Lord during his Christian life as Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, and a Bible study teacher for many years. Mr. Farmer leaves behind his loving family: wife, Lena Farmer; children, Claudia (Robert) Hays, Pamela (Edward) Pottenger, and Elliott (Kimberly) Farmer; grandchildren, Timothy (Candy), Theodore (Kathy), Tonda (Warren), Blair (Carol), Taisha (Daniel), Bryan (Brittaney), and Braxton; sister, Aurellia Dunlap; and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 7 siblings. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - until time of service (1 p.m.), Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at the Fairfield Church of God, 6001 Dixie Hwy., Fairfield, OH 45014. News Death Notice GUSTAFSON, Dorothy Kathryn Bartholomew Died on April 20th, 2016. Wife of Richard E. Gustafson, mother of Kathryn M. Hiller, grandmother of N. Luisa Kathryn Hiller, and great-grandmother of Natasha Kathryn and Beatrice Kathryn Huen. She was born in Des Moines, Iowa on September 2, 1914, and went to college at Northwestern University in the 1930's, where she fell in love with Chicago. After her graduate work in Library Sciences, she moved back to Des Moines, where she worked as a librarian and met Richard. They moved to Oxford Ohio in 1945, where Dorothy was a member of the Holy Trinity Church and for many years a librarian at Miami University and Talawanda High School. Funeral service will be held at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church on May 11th, 2016 at 2PM, followed by burial at the Oxford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donation to Lane Public Library, or your favorite charity.

HARDEN, Dorothy Loretta (Arthur)* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice HARDEN (Arthur), Dorothy Loretta Age 91 of Hamilton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2016. She was born in Cincinnati on November 26, 1924 to Carl and Edna (Steckenrieter) Bruck. Dorothy retired from Butler County Care Facility, and also enjoyed her position as a receptionist at the Senior Citizens Center on Ross Ave. in Hamilton, Oh. Dorothy worked as a caregiver in her last days. She was an active member of Princeton Pike Church of God for 30 years, in the choir and as a door greeter. She and friends would spend free time visiting nursing homes and shut-ins, preaching the word of God. She is survived by her children, Millie Lederer, Alan Arthur, William Arthur, and Catherine Arthur, nine grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Arthur, her sons, James Benton and her youngest Jack Arthur, as well as her parents. The family would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Chuck King, Crissy Snader, and Chaplain Steve Tufts. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at the Shandon Congregational Church, 4782 Cincinnati Brookville Rd., Shandon, OH 45063 at 1:00 pm with officiating by Rev. John Specht. Burial will follow on Friday at 1:00 pm at Hickory Flat Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2016 from 10:00am to 1:00 pm at Shandon Congregational Church. Condolences can be made at www.browndawsonflick.com . She will be missed but her work continues in the ministry of Jesus Christ.
