McCLUSKEY, Steven Earl* - Hamilton  
News Death Notice McCLUSKEY, Steven Earl Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 16 in Minneapolis, MN. He was a man who loved life, family, friends, and laughter. Born on March 18, 1949 Steve grew up in a very close family. He enjoyed competing in all youth sports. He graduated from Middletown High School where he excelled in football. Steve earned an athletic scholarship to Northwest Missouri State College where his exploits earned him a tryout with the Chicago Bears. While achieving success as a model for print media, Steve also demonstrated his great care and skill as a coach for youth track. He led several club teams to regional and national finals. As much as coaching, he enjoyed mentoring youth, including his nieces and nephews and inspiring all to reach for the fulfillment of their promise. Steve was a man of faith. He served as a deacon of his church and often spoke of and demonstrated his convictions through his regard and loyalty to others. With a ready smile, no one near him remained a stranger for long. He was preceded in death by his father, John, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife Yvette, his daughters Stevy Crystal and Whitney, his grandson Jakius, Mother Helen, Brother John Jr, Sisters Mildred and Karen and several nieces, nephews, cousins. Services will be held Sunday, February 22 at 3pm at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church in Minneapolis, MN.

News Death Notice McGLOTHEN, Sr., Michael D. Age 68, of Middletown, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015 at his residence. He was born December 22, 1946 in Middletown, OH to Howard and Emma (Griggs) McGlothen. He was a shuttle bus driver for Lakefront for AK Steel for 25 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed fishing. Michael is survived by his wife of 50 years, Phyllis (Banks) McGlothen; children, Tamara Morgerson, Michael (Patti) McGlothen Jr. both of Middletown; sister, Myrna Fisher of Middletown; grandchildren, Michael (Megan) McGlothen III, Amber Morgerson, Heather McGlothen, Tom Morgerson; 7 great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Gwen McGlothen and Norma McGlothen; brother-in-law, Dave Ginter and many nieces, nephews and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Betty Ginter; Bernice McGlothen; brothers, Jim, Mark and Virgil McGlothen; brother-in-law, Darrel Stacy. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Baker-Stevens-Parramore Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 1:00pm at the funeral home with Jerry Minor officiating. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. McGUIRE, Nona J.* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice McGUIRE, Nona J. Age 76, of Fairfield passed away peacefully on Wednesday February 18, 2015 at Mercy Hospital of Fairfield. She was born on September 25, 1938 in Hamilton the daughter of the late Arnold and Dorothy (Pierce) McGuire. She was the beloved mother of Bryan Mills and the late Diane McQueen and the late Brad Mills; also surviving are six grandchildren Esther (Chris) Singh, Emily Mills, Marcus Mills, Sarah (Garrett) Morris, Donovan (Jennifer) McQueen, and Samantha Mills; five great grandchildren Kirsten, Avery, Alley Rose, Analeigh, and Kellen; she was the dear sister of David McGuire, Michael McGuire, and the late Gordon McGuire, and the late Patty McGuire. Mrs. McGuire was a 1956 graduate of Notre Dame High School in Hamilton. Nona managed Bell Tower Apartments for 17 years. She served others by volunteering hundreds of hours with organizations like Hands Across America, Shared Harvest of Fairfield, and St. Raphael. The beauty of all who knew Nona was her ability to reach out to people and meet their needs. McINTOSH, Arley* - Middletown  
News Death Notice McINTOSH, Arley Age 68, of Trenton, died Monday, February 23, 2015, at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties. He was born July 9, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Pearl McIntosh and Hazel (Morris) McIntosh. Arley loved country music and enjoyed shining shoes. His life was his work; he loved the Laborers Union Local #534. Through his illness and up to the last days, his thoughts were of his fellow workers. The family wishes to thank the nurses at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties, especially Angela and Dana. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley (Shrout) McIntosh; one daughter, Lisa; five grandchildren, David Adkins, Amanda Allen, Tiffany Blue, Brandon Barnett, David Lee McIntosh Jr.; four great grandchildren, Aryanna Blue, Jordan Crider, Jrue Crider, Gabriel Blue; one sister, Nancy Kelley; and two brothers, Ervin and Donald McIntosh. He was preceded in death by one son, David Lee McIntosh; his parents; and one brother, Charles McIntosh. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday at the Breitenbach- McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home with Cody D. Mullins officiating. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Friday at the funeral home. MEISTER, Carol R.* - Fairfield  
News Death Notice MEISTER Carol R. Age 72, of Fairfield, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 25, 2015 at 6:00 a.m. at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born on January 5, 1943 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Martin and Irma (Compton) Nistler. She was educated in St. Peter School, graduating from Notre Dame High School in 1961 and Miami University in 1968. On June 29, 1963 in St. Peter Church, she married James A. Meister Sr. and he preceded her in death on November 5, 2010. She was employed as a teacher in the Hamilton City and Parochial Schools for many years and later employed at Union Central Life Insurance Company retiring in 2003. Carol sold Avon for over 25 years and was very active in Partners in Prime. She was a member of St. Ann Church, Rosary Society and the church choir. She is survived by her children Julie M. Meister, James A. (Melissa) Meister Jr., JoAnn (Kenny) Campbell and Jay Meister; her nine grandchildren Haley, Dalton, Jacob, Wesley, Rachel, Samantha, Adam, Olivia and Jack; one great-grandchild Kenslee; her sisters Charlotte Orschell and Marilyn Schlabach; her brother Ronald Nistler; also many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and niece Becky Werner. Prayers will be Monday March 2, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 3950 Pleasant Ave., Hamilton followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Church, with Fr. Larry Tharp, officiating. Burial in St. Stephen Cemetery. News Death Notice MILLER, Raymond Walter Age 83 of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at Hospice of Hamilton. He was born December 11, 1931 in Cheviot, the son of Carl F. and Lillian (Downton) Miller. Raymond served his country in US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for General Electric until his retirement in 1991. He leaves behind his children, Michael (Naomi) Miller of Wesley, PA, Mark (Kim) Miller of Hudson, OH, and Debra (George) Cooper of Slippery Rock, PA; grandchildren, Nicole (Brian) Domanski and Brianne Cooper, Alayna Downard and Mariah Miller, Mackenzie, Cole and Peyton Miller; and great-grandchildren, Oliver Domanski and Eden Downard. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Carol Sue (McMullen) Miller. News Death Notice MUELLER, James E. Age 79, of Fairfield Twp. died on Monday February 23, 2015. He was born on October 7, 1935 in Hamilton to the late Edward and Edna (nee Janser) Mueller. On October 22, 1955 he married his wife the late Regina J. Ott at Zion Lutheran Church in Hamilton. James retired in 1997 from the DOE Fernald site. He was a handyman who enjoyed helping others. James is survived by his children, Kenneth J. (Karen) Mueller of Fairfield and Karen A. (Scott) Bolser of Monroe; grandchildren, Whitney Mueller and Matthew Bolser. He is also survived by a sister Ruth (Teofil) Lednik and numerous family and friends. James is preceded in death by his wife Regina J. Mueller; his parents; and his sister Helen Smith. News Death Notice OSTERBERGER, Rene H. "Skip" 44, of Cincinnati, passed away on Tuesday, February 17. He is survived by his parents, Rene (Gayla) Osterberger, Sr. and Patricia Isaacs Osterberger; son, Tristan Osterberger; daughter, Devan Osterberger; grandson, Brailyn Garrett; sisters, Kimberly (John) Wilcox and Cindy (Dave) Russell; devoted caretakers, Dusten Garrett and Robert Isaacs as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Skip was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was also an excellent marksman in sport shooting and was an instructor in the Ohio Carry and Conceal course.
