ERVIN, Charles Michael age 53, of Denver, Colorado, died suddenly on Saturday, February 22, 2014, at his Denver home as the result of a pulmonary embolism. Born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 3, 1960, Charles attended Immanuel Lutheran School, George Washington Jr. High School, and Garfield Senior High school. After graduating, he attended the Ohio Institute of Photography. He married his high school sweetheart, Tarana Risinger, on September 18, 1982, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Hamilton, Ohio. The two met at Garfield Senior High School in 1975, and had just celebrated the 39th anniversary of the date he'd asked her to "go steady" with him on February 20th. Chuck is survived by his wife of 32 years, Tarana Risinger Ervin, his beloved daughter, Savannah Rachel Ervin, her fiancé, Enrique Villa, and a dear son, Alexander James Ervin. He also leaves his father, Charles D. Ervin of Hamilton, Ohio and sister, Marilyn Collins, of Hamilton, Ohio. He was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Ervin, and his sister, Linda Ervin Clemmons. In keeping with Chuck's expressed wishes, he was cremated and no funeral was held.
