News Death Notice

FOX, Robert Emil Age 90, of Hamilton, died Wednesday, November 27, 2013 in Fort Hamilton Hospital. He was born in Cincinnati on April 23, 1923, the son of Allen and Freida (Erlich) Fox. He was a graduate of Xavier University with BA in English. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army from March 19, 1942 to October 14, 1945 and served in the South Pacific. Bob married Marion Stoehr on September 10, 1948 in Cincinnati. He was employed as an insurance investigator for Equifax. He was a long time Boy Scout leader and supporter and instructor for the knife skill merit badge. He was involved in several woodcarving clubs at the Fitton Center, Partners in Prime and in Middletown. He was a past member of Kiwanis and was very active in the Isaac Walton League. He was a life member of the Fairfield VFW Post #1069. He is survived by his wife, Marion; a daughter, Anneliese Fox (Jim Kephart), South Windsor Connecticut; a son, Randall L. (Gaylene) Fox, Moores Hill, Indiana; two grandchildren, Zachary (Susan) Fox and Jacob Fox, all of Moores Hill and a great grandson. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013 at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. Visitation will be Monday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
