BLAKE, Terry L. Age 69 of Springfield, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Wednesday, October 25, 2017. He was born on November 26, 1947 to the late Charles L. and Elsie J. (Cotrell) Blake in Springfield. In addition to his father, Terry is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amanda; and brother-in-law, Ron Carroll. Along with his mother, he leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of nearly 52 years, Ann (Gaier) Blake; children: William J. (Stacey) Blake, Michael C. (Charlotte) Blake, Heather A. (Michael) Wallen and Lisa M. Blake; grandchildren: Andrew, Matthew, Amber, Dylan, Jacob, Tim, Jessy and Aaron; great-grandchildren: Daniel, Maddie, Macie, and Brayden; sisters: Shari (Bill) Lane, Dallas Carroll, and Connie Thomas; close nephew and niece, Jason and Summer; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Terry retired from Navistar after 39 dedicated years. A visitation will be held on Monday, October 30, 2017 from 4-7p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER. A celebration of his life will be on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 1p.m also at the funeral home with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Burial will follow at Vale Cemetery.
