REIMER, Charlotte A. "Shorty" age 84 of Hamilton died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Hospice of Hamilton. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on July 9, 1929, the daughter of Herman L. and Mary Margaret (Beer) Sanders. Charlotte was a 1947 graduate of Notre Dame High School. On July 16, 1949, in St. Peter in Chains Church she married Robert H. Reimer and he preceded her in death on September 27, 2002. Mrs. Reimer was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church and the Altar Rosary Society. She enjoyed going to her grandchildren's sporting events and spending time at the Westside YMCA. Survivors include five children, Charlotte (Jerry) Housden of Franklin, Tennessee, Robert M. (Linda) Reimer, Gregory (Maureen) Reimer, James (Lisa) Reimer, and Richard (Rita) Reimer, all of Hamilton; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; life long friend, Joie Staarmann. Besides her husband, Robert, she was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Richard, Herman E. "Bud", and Mark Sanders; four sisters, Clara Blanchard, Elaine Brashear, Thelma Atkinson, and Mary Margaret Antes. The family wishes to express their thanks to Dr. Harry Davin and the many caregivers at Schroder Manor for the excellent care over many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00am Tuesday in St. Peter in Chains Church, 382 Liberty Ave, Hamilton, OH 45013. Entombment will be in St. Stephen Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 9:30-11:00am Tuesday in the church. Memorial donation may be made to St. Peter in Chains Church St. Vincent de Paul or Shared Harvest, 5901 Dixie Hwy, Fairfield, OH 45014.
