BROSHEAR, Gregory Ray "Swing" age 57 of Oxford, Ohio passed away at McCullough Hyde Memorial Hospital on October 1, 2012 at 12PM. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on September 14, 1955 the son of Betty Jo and Clarence L. Broshear. Greg was a member of the Eagles #3986, the Amvets-Westside Hamilton Chapter, and Moose #36 Hamilton. He was employed for 34 years at Broshear Contractors. He owned his own business the Reily Pizza in Reily, Ohio for 5 years. He was a baseball and T-ball coach; and a 4-H horse club leader for the "Outlaws, Misfits and Rebels." He broke, rode and trained horses and was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed trail rides and camping at Whitewater State Park where he was known for his cowboy manner, cooking skills and entertaining charm. He enjoyed a good game of Pitch, darts, was a "talented billiards player" and enjoyed the simple life. He could be often heard saying "Main thing's not to get excited." His favorite country singer was his son Ryan Broshear. Greg is survived by his wife JoAnne (Viel) Broshear of Harrison; brothers Ronnie (Sherry) Broshear, Jerry (Stephanie) Broshear & Michael Broshear; mother-in-law: Helen Viel; two sons Ryan Gregory (Amie) Broshear of West Harrison; Brandon Broshear of Hamilton; and two stepsons Joseph Fray of Oxford and Adam (Tiffany) Fray of Harrison, Ohio; six grandchildren Katie Marie Broshear, Daniel Ryan Broshear, Mackinzie Nicole Broshear, Kylie Anne Broshear, Bradlee Fray, Taylor Fray, Adam fray II , Kevin Fray; and nine nieces and nephews. Greg's wishes will be honored with a public memorial service in celebration of his full, rich life at the Reily Community Center, October 13 at 1PM.
