News Death Notice

INGRAM, Marvin F. 83, of Hamilton, died on December 11, 2013. He was born November 7, 1930, in Hamilton, the son of Claude and Marie Ingram. On July 22, 1950, he married Louise Gray, who preceded him in death on October 14, 2009. Marvin was an Army veteran who served in Korea. He retired as a lieutenant from the Hamilton Fire Department in 1986 after 33 years of service. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Cheryl and Jerry Scrivner, his son and daughter-in-law Michael and Nicole Ingram, his brothers Ray (Jane) Ingram and John (Roanne) Ingram, and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by his brother, William Ingram, and his sister, Claudine Gesell. Private services will be held at the family's convenience. Family and friends are invited to join together for a "Remembrance of the Man" upstairs at Ryan's Tavern, 241 High Street, Hamilton, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2013.
