News Death Notice

ADAMS, Sharon R. (Sharp) Age 80, died Wednesday March 5, 2014 while in care at Mercy Franciscan At Schroder, Hamilton Ohio. Sharon was the Daughter of Henry and Mary Sharp of Reily, Ohio where she was raised on the family farm as an only child by two devoted and loving parents who preceded her in death. Sharon attended Reily schools and was the wife of Ace Adams, who precedes her recently in death. Sharon enjoyed many social relationships, volunteer efforts and was an active person who at a later age found great enjoyment in golf, travel and mutual friendships with her husband Ace. As a mother to her two children Dan Bourne and Terry Bourne of Oxford, she provided security, guidance and encouraged a firm work ethic and independent thinking. Sharon leaves her two Sons Dan (Pam) Bourne, and Terry (Karen) Bourne. Grandchildren Lindsay Bourne Bucciarelli (Brian), Andy Bourne, Matthew Bourne (Noelle), Lauren Bourne, and Bradley Bourne, and one great grandchild Brooklyn Bucciarelli. Additionally she leaves adult-step - children Terri, Tom and Jim Adams and their children along with the extended family of her son Dan and many friends over the years. Special thanks to local physicians, care facilities and individuals who cared in recent months for both Sharon and Ace working to make their final time together the best possible under difficult health times. A Memorial Visitation will be held in conjunction with her husband Ace on Monday March 10, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Paul R. Young Funeral Home 3950 Pleasant Ave. Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to The Auxiliary of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, 110 West Poplar St. Oxford, Ohio 45056.
