RICHMOND, Ind. - Mary Frances Daniel, 86, of Richmond, died May 12, 2011, at Reid Hospital after a long illness.
She was born Jan. 21, 1925, in Folsomville to Jordan and Eliza Luella Rainey Moss and lived in Richmond since 1947.
She was a graduate of the University of Evansville with a degree in education. She formerly worked at AVCO and Insurance Company of North America. She retired as a substitute teacher for Richmond Community Schools.
She was a member of Faith United Lutheran Church and the Richmond Senior Center. She was a beloved wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Fred Sr.; two children, Fred (Jill) Daniel Jr. of New Castle and Cindi (Kenneth) Doolittle of Mount Vernon, Ohio; five grandchildren, Alex Crawford, Kristen Stafford, Stewart, Elizabeth and Alison Doolittle; two great- grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Christine Smith.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev Brian Derrer officiating. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. Friends may call 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
