33, died peacefully early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2013, of complications from cancer. She is survived by her Mother and Father, Laura and Marc Shinbrood of Palm Beach Gardens and a large extended family. Karlee faced cancer courageously and she fought the disease and embraced life until the very end. Karlee was full of life. She loved her friends and family, her crazy cat Kissy, the Chicago Bears, the Washington Capitals, and singing Karaoke. Karlee touched everyone she met. As one of her friends put it, she was always the one who "got it." There will be a celebration of Karlee's life on Wednesday February 13th starting at 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Karlee's house, 15 Thurston Drive, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The family asks that in lieu of flowers that you send a donation in Karlee's name to the Sari Asher Center (http://www.saricenter.org) (1411 N. Flagler Drive, Suite 8900B, West Palm Beach, FL 33401). Karlee was grateful for the comfort, massages and treatments at the Sari Center.

I met Karlee through my boyfriend last year and although I did not know her well, I commended her for helping Steed through his trying time. They had a very strong and peaceful connection through each others situation. She was a beautiful person inside and out and Steed and I are greatpful that we were able to come into terms with a person with such a beautiful heart. We are praying for her family. RIP Karlee, you can finally rest with out worry. You will be missed.

Karlee.....Such a loss of a great friend. You and your family made Thanksgiving my favorite holiday of the year.I couldn't wait for the food, fun, drinking,Cowboys game, and of course the "world famous Dirty Bingo". You were such a special person and impacted so many people in an urforgettable manor. I always have in the past and now in the future think of you when "Long December" is playing.I am glad you're not in any more pain.Love Always.....Timmaay.

So we had the idea to overpower the "Pajama Jeans" empire. It's fine...I'll take care of it. I love you, Karlee. It could be two weeks, or two years...I would send a text or call, and the time never mattered. We just picked up where we left off. I don't know if you ever realized the impact you had, on everyone...even when you put them in their place. Most likely, you are laughing at me for being too emotional. And, loving me for being the same thing. I love you. But that doesn't need to be said...you, always know.

We had such a great idea to beat the "Pajama Jeans" empire. I could wait a week, or two years, and if I text or called you - the distance was never there. You never changed your smile, ever, "sick" or not - you never changed your smile. If I could have half of that, I'd know I lived. You lived. Too many quotes to add. I love you. And you are probably making fun of me for being too emotional. Makes me love you more.

Karlee will be so missed coming to the Sari Center. I had not seen her in a while and was waiting for her to return so this news is extra sad for me... She shared with me photos of her beloved cat the last time she was at the center and we laughed together... My heart goes out to her parents and family... Lovely Karlee,
You lit up the room when you entered and made everyone there feel at home with a smile, a song and a refreshment
or two. I'm confident you're during the same in the heavens above.
As for those of us still roaming this world, all the lives you touched are better for having known you during your all too brief but purposeful life.
With love and sympathy....Dian
