I will miss my buddy and great friend.
Kenny was generous to a fault, very loving and what a fabulous sense of humor ! I will miss our conversations but mostly the funny moments when we laughed till we cried. Like Kenny saying the blessing over a holiday meal - Now I lay me down to sleep......
I know firsthand how much Judy and Kenny loved each other. It was wonderful to see.
He was crazy about his Judith Ann (Queen Pharoah, as he referred to her)!
He is gone to be with The Lord. Gone but never forgotten by those who love him.

Dear Judy, I feel Kenny's mission was to let people know how much he appreciated them by giving back in some way. Sometimes it was by a great compliment or a generous tip to a server. Othertimes it was by spurring on every young person he knew to fulfill their fullest potential. His biggest goal, though, was to give you the BEST life possible and he did that. You can rest assured that you gave him the BEST also. Yes Dave, I too am so glad they had each other all those years. What a courageous battle he fought. My heart goes out to you. Love Joyce

Kenny; You were a wonderful and kind person. My two daughters and I
will not forget the day you sat and waited with us the time Chuck, My son
and the girls brother went through an aorta operation. You stayed with us the whole time and would not leave .When I mentioned to my daughter that you went home to be with our Lord and Savior, that was the first thing she mentioned to me. God Bless and God Bless you Judy .

To Judy and all Holtz family members. I was terribly saddened to lear of Kenny's passing. In our early teens Kenny and I were famous budies. This past Seprember I visited him for a weekend and our friendship resumed as if it were the ole days even though 45 years had passed us by. Reliving memories such as our after school brawl as 13 year olds and buddying up to attend the Friday night Sharps Hill Fire Hall dances was a kick for both of us. It was great to recognize Kenny's trademark eye twinkle and smile.....a lot of time went by but nothing changed much except we were both seniors now. RIP Kenny, The Big O is on your wing. --- Tom Ostoich

Judy, it was sadly inspiring to see you with Kenny on some of his last days this side of heaven. What love you have for each other. I can't bring myself to use past tense because his love for you will always be with you and yours for him. Without a shred of hesitation you did everything possible to care for Kenny and yet when anything was said to you about it you immediately responded, "Well, Kenny makes it real easy, he never complains." Kenny knew how blessed he was to have you. Your desire and willingness to give your all for him was love at its deepest level. I admire you, Judy. Kenny had quite a way of making people feel special, didn't he? I love the way he is looking at you in that picture in the photo gallery where you are sitting at a table. God bless you, Judy

Judy, I'm so sorry and sad to hear of Kenny's passing. He was such a good man. And his love for you was so obvious. May you be comforted by the many happy memories you have of him.

On behalf of Kenny's co workers with Broward County we are saddened by the news of Ken's passing. He will be missed. I can attest that Kenny was liked by everyone who had the pleasure to work with him. He was always friendly and really enhanced the workplace. And for me, as his boss, we had some interesting times at work. Sometimes after work and after he retired Ken and I would talk on the phone. In those conversations we never forgot to discuss football. I would kid with him and tell him that he was a good guy despite being a Steelers fan. He was a good sport and made all of us laugh with his interesting and humorous stories. I would always smile when he would greet and refer to me as "The Chief".
For Judy, the family, and all of Ken's friends. My prayers and thoughts are with you as you mourn a loving family member and a good friend.
Godspeed Kenny.

Kenny was a wonderful friend and colleague. From the day we met I knew I was going to like working with Kenny. He cared deeply about his work and everyone who wanted to get the job done right! Kenny personified style and grace in all he did. Always the classy dresser and always going out of his way to make you feel great - such a fantastic friend. We're going to miss you bud!

Dear Judy Ken was somebody I'll never forget, he was the motivating force for the FT. Lauderdale boxing dept. He was the promoter, organizer, the heart of the program, many times I would have quit but didn't because he pushed me and I'm glad he did it. Me and Ken went to all the gyms in SE Fl. with alot of young fighters, he was the force behind it, he helped many young men gain confidence in their life thru boxing, he always called me " CHAMP " but he was the real CHAMP, I'll always remember him

Mrs. Holtz I am so very sorry for your loss. I am in shocked !! Kenny was a wonderful person and husband. I remember when we would chit chat in NLE all the wonderful things he would do for you. You were the couple everyone wants to have you don't see that anymore. I am glad I had the oppotunity to meet him and know him he will be forever remembered.

One of Kenny's last comments to me was "Marrying Judy was the best thing that I ever did". I'm grateful that my sister spent over forty years with such a loving and devoted husband. I will never forget the t-shirts he proudly wore with Judy's photo imprinted and the message "She's My Everything". Kenny was an open man who made his convictions known to the world, especially when his convictions were about the people he loved! He was a wonderfully unique brother-in-law!
