BAILEY, Darby Carroll* - West Palm Beach  
BAILEY, Darby Carroll Darby Carroll Bailey entered into the arms of our Savior on Friday, September 16, 2016, at the age of 55, after a valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. His devotion to his family and friends, and his firm belief in God supported him in his struggle and ultimately gave him peace. Darby was born on November 16, 1960, in W.P.B., FL, and was a resident of Jupiter, FL. He was a graduate of Palm Beach Gardens High school and was on the dean's list at Lake City Community College. Upon earning his degree, in Landscape Design, he began his career as an accomplished Landscape designer and established his company "Black Diamond Maintenance". Darby had an insatiable thirst for life and he lived his to the fullest. He had a heart of gold and an immeasurable love for his family and friends. He was noble in his thoughts and actions and expected nothing in return for his efforts. He gave joy and comfort to all of those around him with his contagious laughter and sparkling eyes. He is survived by his parents, Paul and Verdye (Carroll) Bailey, his brother Dana E. Hagan, his sister Dallas E. Moss (Robert J. II), his nephew Robert J. Moss III and niece Bailey C. Moss, and a multitude of precious family and friends as well as his beloved dogs. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 1:30p.m. at First Baptist Church of Lake Park, 625 Park Ave., Lake Park, FL 33403. BALLE, Marion Louise (September 19, 1927 - September 18, 2016) Marion passed away one day before her 89th birthday. She was married in 1952 to her devoted husband Ozzie (pre-deceased) and had resided in Tequesta Florida since 1992. She leaves behind children David, Susan and Bruce (pre-deceased) and grandchildren Brandon and Lauren as well best friends Rita, Edie and Lois (pre-deceased). An only child to her beloved parents David and Margaret James, she grew up in Irvington and Maplewood, NJ. Following high school, she attended The Berkeley School in East Orange for secretarial training, graduating in 1946. She had a lifelong love of reading, seldom without a book and enjoyed travel with Ozzie in their retirement. BAXLEY, Vivian Mae* - Lake Worth  
BAXLEY, Vivian Mae 92, passed away from natural causes September 6, 2016, at her home in Greenacres, FL. She was born December 8th, 1923 in Cleveland, OH to R E Lang and Rebecca Jane (Hetherington) Lang. She was married to Ray R. Baxley from 1944 to 1970. She lived in PBCo since 1949, after living at the U.S. Naval base in Key West, FL. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in WPB. She graduated from Case Institute of Technology in Cleveland, OH. During World War II she worked for the U.S. Army map service as a cartographer creating detailed and accurate maps for the troops deployed in Europe. She also drew a syndicated comic strip for the Cleveland Plain Dealer and the Stars and Stripes newspapers. She worked to provide high reliability electronics parts to the Space Shuttle and retired in 1989 as a Senior Quality Control inspector. Vivian is survived by four children, Karen Baxley of MD, Gary Baxley (Sharon) of CO, Carole Fink (Michael) of FL and Gayle Fortner (Danny) of NC. She also is survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Graveside service, Fri. Sept. 23, 1:00 PM, Hillcrest Memorial Park 6411 Parker Ave, WPB, FL. BEAN, Patricia Hlavin (1953-2016) Patricia "Patte" Hlavin Bean, 63, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, died September 21, 2016, after nearly eight years battling cancer. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 24, from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center, 754 U.S. Highway 1, North Palm Beach, FL. A Celebration of Life will take place later in Texas. She was born January 24, 1953, in Berwyn, IL, the daughter of Ruth and Frank Hlavin. She graduated from York Community High School in Elmhurst and the University of Arizona in Tucson. She married Kenneth Leigh Bean on June 9, 1979, in Elmhurst, IL. He survives, along with their children, Katie Bean, Phil Bean and wife Richelle, and Sam Bean. She also is survived by her mother, Ruth, and her brothers, Peter and Paul Hlavin.
