BARRINGTON, Rosalie* - West Palm Beach
BARRINGTON, Rosalie On December 10, 2014, Rosalie peacefully went home to be with Jesus at the age of 89. Born in Virginia on May 19, 1925, she was raised in Philadelphia in a home of which she always had fond memories. She moved to West Palm Beach in 1945 to raise her family and worked as a bookkeeper over the years at both Good Samaritan Hospital and Petite Marmite Restaurant in Palm Beach. Rosalie was loving and gentle, but as funny as any comedian out there. She learned the computer at the age of 85 and would get such a kick out of playing solitaire and emailing her family daily. Rosalie is survived by her loving daughters Carol Babb and Deborah Waldman of West Palm Beach, her granddaughter Kendra Waldman of Los Angeles, and her sons-in-law Frederic Gunter and Walt Peretto of West Palm Beach. A private service will be held at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, in her honor. Rosalie will be laid to rest under the tree of her choice and will be missed by her family who laughed with her and loved her very much.
