MURRAY, Deborah Nocera
of Highland Beach, FL passed away on Friday, March 8, 2013 at Holy Cross Hospital after a five year battle with cancer. She was 53 years old. Deborah was born on February 29, 1960 and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. The family eventually moved to Delray Beach, Florida where Deborah graduated from Atlantic High School in 1978. She met her future husband, Tom, when she was only 17; but continued her education receiving her BS degree in Accounting from John Carroll University in Ohio. She married her love and life partner on July 11, 1987 in Highland Beach, Florida. Deborah loved travelling with Tom. Whenever there was a break, they were gone. She told others she lived a "charmed life" always grateful to God for her amazing husband of 25 years, Thomas. Deborah cherished the relationship with her daughter Kendall (23); a student at FAU and a constant inspiration. Deborah was so proud of their son, Chase (21), current Senior at FSU in Tallahassee receiving his commission of 2nd Lieutenant on May 3rd, just prior to graduation. Deborah is also survived by her loving parents Vincent & Geri Nocera, both of Delray Beach; brother Victor Nocera, of Boynton Beach and sister Annette Nocera of Ft. Lauderdale. Deborah never stopped smiling; she never complained or wanted to burden anyone with her health issues. Her courageous yet gentle spirit will always be remembered; although gone she will never be forgotten as she lives on in the heart of loved ones. Glick Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
