GACHE, Evelyn E.

Evelyn E. Gache, 93, of Jupiter, FL, passed away peacefully, on Monday, March 24, 2014. Evelyn had many accomplishments throughout her life which included: Loving mother and wife; Contributing Writer-Jupiter Courier Newspaper; Medic (one of the first in the Jupiter Area); Swim Teacher, Sal Haven Pool, Jupiter; Bowling Coach (10 plus years) Jupiter Lanes, Jupiter; Super 60's Organization-Entertaining, singing and playing her harmonica at many assisted living/nursing homes throughout Palm Beach County. She was also a member of the Jupiter Elkettes and Jupiter Moose Lodge. Evelyn met William "Bill" F. Gache, Sr., the love of her life in 1944 and married shortly after in 1945. They had five children together, Bill Jr., Linda, Brad, Robin and Kim. They lived in Windsor, NY, then moved to Jupiter, FL, spent four years in Panama, Canal Zone, before moving back again to Jupiter. After Bill Sr., passed in 1986, she went on to gain many friendships and retain her love of dancing and singing, going to the Elks and Moose lodges for every occasion. She was an avid harmonica player, taking it wherever she went and entertained people with her songs. In 1995, she met Henry Anon, and for the next 16 years, shared her love of traveling and dancing with him, until his passing in 2011. Evelyn was predeceased by her beloved husband, William "Bill" F. Gach, Sr., and her beloved first born son, William "Bill" F. Gache, Jr. She is survived by her children, Linda Dorsey of Cleveland, TN, Brad Gache and his partner David Daucanski of West Palm Beach, FL, Robin Gache-Skidmore of Jupiter, FL, Kim Gache-Williams (Michael) of Stuart, FL, daughter-in-law, Carol Gache of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; seven grandchildren, Carla Hansel (Chris), Jennifer Townsend (Eric), Stephanie Sejnoha (Mike), Scott Dorsey (Darena), Stacey Dorsey, Christopher Dorsey (Amy), Donald Williams (Kelly). 13 great-grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary, Erin, Emery, Derek, Kayla, Molly, Nicholas, Gage, Halli, Ashlyn, Peyton and Cian. She is also survived by many loving relatives. Services will be held Monday, March 31, 2014.
