Age 86, longtime resident of Boynton Beach passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. George was a wonderful example of a Christian man and had a great sense of humor and an enthusiastic love of life. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Boynton Beach and charter member of Boynton Beach V.F.W. Post 5335. George was the founder and owner of MDH Graphics in West Palm Beach since 1977. He was also a World War II Veteran in the U.S. Army 81st Infantry Division serving in the Pacific Theater. George is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, June Mary; three daughters, Mary (Billy Burkett) Fey-Burkett, Janet (John) Fetty and Sarah (John) Pavlo; two sons, George W. Davison III and Eric (Donna) Davison; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and two loving caregivers, Evena and Sandra. A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 101 North Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach. George will be laid to rest in the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road #7, Lake Worth on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 9:45 AM, Lane #1. Reception to follow at the Boynton Beach VFW Post 5335.
