Age 86, longtime resident of Boynton Beach passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013 at his home with his family at his side. George was a wonderful example of a Christian man and had a great sense of humor and an enthusiastic love of life. He was a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Boynton Beach and charter member of Boynton Beach V.F.W
. Post 5335. George was the founder and owner of MDH Graphics in West Palm Beach since 1977. He was also a World War II
Veteran in the U.S. Army
81st Infantry Division serving in the Pacific Theater. George is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, June Mary; three daughters, Mary (Billy Burkett) Fey-Burkett, Janet (John) Fetty and Sarah (John) Pavlo; two sons, George W. Davison III and Eric (Donna) Davison; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and two loving caregivers, Evena and Sandra. A Celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church, 101 North Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach. George will be laid to rest in the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road #7, Lake Worth on Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 9:45 AM, Lane #1. Reception to follow at the Boynton Beach VFW Post 5335.
