HYMAN, Harold W.

age 83, passed away peacefully on Friday November 23rd at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. A proud father and grandfather, Harold is survived by his wife of 57 years Judith, his three daughters Amy Barad and her husband Seth of San Rafael, CA, Ellen Jones of Pittsford, NY, Nancy Herbert and her husband Glenn of Boca Raton, FL, and his four grandsons: Ben, Zach, Jeffrey and Eli. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Hyman lived with his family in Dumont, New Jersey. He and his wife retired to Florida in 2001. He graduated from Syracuse University and served in the Army during the Korean War. Upon discharge, he joined his father?s hat manufacturing business. Years later, he entered the leisure hat business with two friends. An avid sports fan, he particularly enjoyed watching football. He played tennis and golf. He loved to travel and as recently as last May, returned to Korea with fellow veterans. Funeral services will be held on Sunday November 25th at 10:30 a.m. Boulevard-Riverside Chapels, 114-03 Queens Blvd, Forest Hills, NY 11375. Interment will follow at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Flushing, NY. Arrangements are under the direction of Gutterman-Musicant, Hackensack, NJ.
