CONERLY, Sr., Henry Edward

Henry Edward Conerly Sr. (AKA Ed C and Mr. Chips), 83, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 after a short illness. He was born in Riviera Beach, FL on October 10, 1930. He loved the Florida lifestyle and spent his entire life in Palm Beach County other than the 4 years he spent serving his country in the Navy during the Korean War. He was employed at Bellsouth for 35 years and retired at the age of 57. He loved the outdoors and passed on his passion for fishing and hunting to both of his children. He had a strong commitment to his family and friends and was always available to help if the need arose. He also provided love and support to his "extended family" of Alcoholics Anonymous and was a member in good standing for the last 35 years of his life. He is survived by his two children Henry "Joe" and Allison, ex-wife Elizabeth, siblings Jerry, Leon and Dorothy, grandchildren Nicole, Griffin and Gaige, great-grandchildren Abigail and Arielle. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 11:00 - 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow at Taylor and Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center Street, Jupiter, FL 33458; (561) 744-2030.
