CRAMP, Kathleen Kilgus

Kathleen Kilgus Cramp, 76, a Thomasville resident for the past nine years, formerly of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., for 30 years, and previously a Fremont, Ohio, resident, died Thursday, June 5, 2014, at Maui Memorial Hospital in Maui, Hawaii. She was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Pasadena, Calif., a daughter of the late Frank Kilgus. On Oct. 23, 1980, in Palm Beach Gardens, she married William Cramp of Thomasville, who survives Mrs. Cramp was self-employed as an interior decorator and previously worked as a registered nurse in Toledo, Ohio. She was a member of New Covenant Church in Thomasville and a graduate of Mercy Hospital College. In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons, Jeffrey Short, Maui, Hawaii, Gary Short, Wallington, Conn.; sister, Charlene Young, Chicago, IL; stepdaughter, Nancy Peel, Manchester, England; stepsons, Douglas Cramp, Youngstown, Ohio, Jeffrey Cramp, Thomasville; granddaughter, Kalee Short, Wallington, Conn.; stepgrandsons, Andrew Cramp, Tony Cramp, both of Youngstown, Ohio; stepgranddaughter, Geni Cramp, Youngstown, Ohio; and cousins, Ron and Ginny Miller, Thomasville. Mrs. Cramp will be cremated in Kahului, Maui, Hawaii, and returned to Thomasville, where a service will be planned for a later date.
