ALCOCK, Lois Ann

Lois Ann Alcock, 70, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL returned to Heaven Sunday, June 30, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born June 26, 1943, in Teaneck, NJ; daughter to Walter and Chrystine Mahlstedt, and sister to Calvin Tod Mahlstedt, all deceased. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph Frederick Alcock; daughters, Susan Alcock Kachouroff and Debra Lynn Beckers; and son Joseph Robert Alcock; sons-in-law, Christopher Kachouroff and Brian Beckers; daughter-in-law Sally Spratlin Alcock; and grandchildren, Samuel, Sarah Grace and Sophia Kachouroff and Waverly and Daphne Alcock. Lois was a devoted wife, a caring daughter, a thoughtful sister, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, and a dear friend. Throughout her life she taught Bible studies, worked with the Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) program, was on the Women's Ministry Leadership Team, and mentored young women within Christ Fellowship Church. Over the years, she worked as a realtor and as an instructional aide in the local school system. A celebration of her life will be held at Christ Fellowship South Campus, Palm Beach Gardens on July 18, 2013 at 3:30 PM.
