TESTA, Maria Stella
Maria Stella Testa, 84, of Lake Worth passed away on May 30, 2019 under the care of Hospice of Palm Beach County in Atlantis. She was born and raised in Hawthorne, New Jersey moving to this area in 1952. Stella had been employed with the Palm Beach County Tax Collector's office for may years before her retirement 20 years ago. She had also served on the Board of Directors of the Palm Beach County Credit Union. Stella had also attended St. Luke Catholic Church in Palm Springs. She was preceded in death by her husband Americo "Rick" in 1963, and her siblings. She leaves her children; Bill and his wife Joanne Testa, Sam Testa and his fiancee Vickie Havner, Cheryl and her husband Kevin Grandy. Her nine grandchildren will also cherish her memory; Kevin and Jennifer Grandy, Lindsey Testa, Keith And Rebecca Grandy, Joseph and Andrea Testa. Kent Grandy, Casey Testa, Sam Testa, Sarah and Jon Hodges, Ricky Testa, and also four great grandchildren. Her family will receive friends on Wednesday between 9: 30 and 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will follow at St. Luke Catholic Church at 11:30 am. Stella will be laid to rest immediately following at Pinecrest Cemetery, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Jude Children Hospital or Hospice of Palm Beach County would be greatly appreciated. Her funeral arrangements have been entrusted to DORSEY - E. Stella testa was my godmother. She lived in keansburg noj with my godfather and her parents. I know that my godfather ( America ) passed away shortly after they moved to fla. in a truck accident ? My name is Irene Demetro. Née Yawger . While visiting my daughters godmother in boy ton beach fla. about ten yrs ago or maybe longer I tried reaching out to her to no avail.
