David was not only my best friend since we were 5 yrs. old, and met in a Mango tree in Riviera Beach, Fl., but he has been a blessed friend all these years since.
He will be greatly missed in my life, but I can rejoice that with Christ he is far better...no more pain or suffering. Now David is worshipping face to face with his Savior whom he loved.
With love to Carol & all the family,
Billy Reed

Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard,
but always near,
so loved, so missed,
so very dear. You are in my thoughts and prayers

David, while at HDA, walked alongside me as I re-entered American society as a missionary from the West Indies. He let me know in word and action that, in spite of what I was seeing, I could not only survive but thrive. I am eternally indebted to him.

Dear Carol and the rest of the Loveland clan,
Grieving with you in the loss of a wonderful man of God, but also rejoicing because we do not grieve as those who have no hope. In glory for eternity where one day we will be reunited with our Lord and Savior, we look with anticipation of our forever home.
Much love,
Tricia and Mark

I remember Dave when he was an 18 yr old Senior at HDA with auburn hair; always a warm gentle smile ,a twinkle in his eyes and a quiet good sense of humor and a certain caring heart with his whole life ahead of him.
Sounds like the boy grew and became the man with all those same qualities; and lived a Godly life as an example to all those he came in contact with thru his life. One who ran the race well ; and was welcomed into heaven as a good a faithful servant.

So very sorry for your family's loss but "relocation" to heaven is ultimate healing and brings with it joy in the midst of sorrow. I didnt know David very well when we were classmates at HDA but have surely learned from fb posts of his wonderful ministry! Prayer for the perfect peace of the Lord to sustain you all as his legacy lives on.

Carol, I have been thinking of you and your family for some time, and hope that David's spirit lives on in all of you. Prayer is a powerful tool and you have Kelly and David now to facilitate that directly from heaven. God love you at this time of sorrow.

Dear Carol,I was David's classmate at HDA ('66). Having lost my husband to cancer I know some of what you're going through. Just know that our Father is true to every promise He's given us. I have found Him to be faithful, strong, loving and everything else I need. May He comfort you and your family as only He can. You are in my prayers with love.(My daughter, Emily Pereira Meyer, lives in Lynchburg where her husband, David, teaches at Liberty. She does some writing for World Help.)
